It's already mid-October! And with all the tasks on your plate daily, you may not have had the opportunity to get the Fall festivities started! Pub crawls, festival’s and other fun events peak in the second half of October but, no worries - we've compiled a list of the best mid October events in Central Florida so you can experience a whole new world of fun!
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS & MONSTER PARTY
For over 10 years, CityArts Orlando has presented the annual Dia de Los Muertos and Monster Party, a fun out-door experience featuring live performances, vendor, and thrilling exhibits of art, inspired by Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos traditions. All art is created by local, national, and international artists.

NIGHTMARE ON CHURCH STREET - ORLANDO'S FAMOUS HALLOWEEN PARTY
After 20 Years, Orlando's Famous Halloween Costume Party Returns to Downtown's Historic Cheyenne Saloon. During this time of the year, Downtown Orlando is lavishly decorated and bustling with various types of activities and one of those is the Church Street Halloween Block Party. Enjoy all-inclusive food and drinks with tastings from some of Orlando's best restaurants and bars. Dance to live music and show off your best costumes for their Halloween costume contest with BIG cash prizes! It's an amazing Halloween experience while raising awareness and funds benefiting Base Camp Children's Cancer Foundation!

APOPKA FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL
The annual Apopka Fall Family Festival is taking place and includes carnival rides, live music, food, vendors and more! So make sure to bring the whole family to this free admission event for some Fall family fun!

SPOOKY EMPIRE - THE DARK SIDE OF COMIC CON
Spooky Empire Rock n Roll, Horror, Halloween, Tattoo, and Film Festival is all rolled up into one monstrous event! This ultimate convention weekend is for fans that truly enjoy the dark side of comic con! Spooky Empire has been delivering the best sights, sounds and screams to Halloween lovers since 2003. 2ND ANNUAL SPOOKTACULAR FALL FESTIVAL
A Haunted Trail, Games, Concessions, Photobooth, Trunk or Treat, and more await at the 2nd Annual Spooktacular Fall Festival. It's spooky fun for everyone! Funds raised at this event go toward supporting Lake Nona Middle School.

ZOO BOO BASH
Zoo Boo Bash is a fun and safe Halloween experience for the whole family. It's the perfect way for children and families to safely show off those Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat, while enjoying the fun of the Zoo.
The Zoo will have plenty of not-so-scary decorations and activities, including trick-or-treat stations. Guests are encouraged to wear their costumes!

This free, outdoor event will serve as a fun, safe, and healthy event for all couples and families, as well as a monthly outing for families impacted by a form of diabetes. You don't need to be a member of the YMCA to attend, this event is open to all! Enjoy carnival games, face painting, food, a scavenger hunt and more!

CENTRAL FLORIDA VEG FEST
Central Florida Veg Fest draws both committed vegetarians/vegans and those who want to know more about how veg living helps us thrive while also enhancing our health, the planet, and its inhabitants. Come enjoy a diverse cross-section of vegan cuisines and lifestyles!
Admission is FREE! Veg Fest is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, alcohol-free, and smoke-free event. Veg Fest, is now in its 17th year, and is one of the biggest and best vegan festivals in the country!

5TH ANNUAL SANFORD JAZZ IN THE PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL

The parking lot will be full of truck or treating, various events, and games for the entire family! Feel free to take a stroll through the Scarehouse with your little ones, and if you dare, enter the world of the Oasis Sanitarium and Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
All proceeds from this event goes to support Bahia Shriners in their mission to aid and support the children of their community and worldwide.

FESTIVAL CALLE ORANGE DOWNTOWN ORLANDO
Festival Calle Orange Downtown Orlando is celebrating 24 years on October 30, 2022. People come from all over the United States just to attend this one day event! This festival includes 4 action packed stages with over 40 artists and closing down 10 city blocks of Downtown Orlando.
Each stage showcases the diversity of the Hispanic community and brings something unique to this great event. Vendors line the streets with everything from hot dogs to pinchos.
